Police Raid Assisted Living Facility; Director Arrested on Neglect Charges

Last week police arrested a assisted living facility director during a raid of the 14-bed group home for the elderly and disabled. Police arrested the director Thursday, just after 9 a.m. She is accused of neglecting residents, resulting in bodily harm, in connection with an April 5 incident. No additional details are available at this time.

Residents were led out of the facility by EMS, one in a wheelchair, others by hand the morning of the raid. the director was previously arrested in 2004 in connection with the home. For more, read the story.
