Repeated Nursing Home Citations Lead To Fine

A nursing home has agreed to pay fines due to citations received after a series of state inspections.  The citations date back several years related to improper infection control, “dignity” concerns for patients, and “accident hazards”, among other issues.  The state was most concerned with the lack of infection control.

The facility agreed to pay the total fine amount of $2,000 after a county board meeting concerning the citations. The violations related to the  facility totaled at least fifteen. For more, read the story.
