Sprinklers Can Save Nursing Home Patient Lives In A Fire

Recent investigative reports about a 2011 nursing home fire reveal that patients’ lives could have been saved if sprinklers had been installed in the home. Fourteen residents died in the fire as the flames reached 100 degrees Celsius.

Two fires were lit by a nursing home worker and drug addict who stole medication from the home as well. He was charged with eleven counts of murder and sentenced to life in prison to recompense the lives lost in the fires. For more, read the story.
