Two Nurses Charged with Trafficking Drugs Stolen from Nursing Home and Hospital Residents

A husband and wife who are both nurses have been arrested on felony drug charges for stealing drugs from patients at nursing homes and hospitals. The couple, in their late twenties, were both charged with fourth degree drug trafficking.

The couple was discovered after undercover police officers purchased drugs from the couple at their home. Police said the amount of stolen medication at the home could rival a pharmacy.  The two individuals were employed in separate nursing facilities where they stole drugs that were later sold to fuel their own heroin addictions. The couple is currently out of jail on bail. For more, read the story.
