Virginia Man Wanted After Beating His Elderly Mother

The Richmond-Times reports, a Goochland County man is being sought in the beating of his 73-year-old mother early yesterday at her home, the county sheriff’s office said.  John Edward Heinrich, 34, of Manakin-Sabot is wanted on a felony charge of assault with intent to maim, disfigure or kill, Goochland Sheriff James L. Agnew said in a news release. Heinrich is accused of inflicting serious head injuries to his mother.

The man's mother was taken to VCU Medical Center. Her current condition is unknown. Anyone with information about Heinrich’s whereabouts can call the nearest law enforcement agency or Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
