Woman Breaks Into Assisted Living Facility and Steals Pain Medications

According to police, an assisted living facility was burglarized recently at about 3:30 a.m. Witnesses told police a woman in her mid-20's, entered the building through the back door and demanded narcotics.

According to staff at the facility, the woman surprised a resident entering the building and demanded to be let inside. The woman did not enter resident rooms at any time during the robbery. the woman was believe to be armed at the time of the robbery.  Staff did not resist and the woman fled the scene with narcotics and a purse containing $100.
